The ESA Business Accelerator Programme supports Europe’s most promising space scale-ups boost their commercial growth potential through a late-stage acceleration programme.

The programme focuses on three key areas:

Supporting business development and go-to-market activities:

  • Providing business coaching to improve business models, marketing skills and revenue growth
  • Enhancing go-to-market plans and sales processes and activities
  • Assisting with scaling-up plans, including organisational expansion and internationalisation
  • Improving pitching and communication skills

Facilitating access to finance:

  • Training on understanding investor requirements
  • Providing feedback on investment presentations and expansion plans to get companies investment-ready
  • Organising investor presentations, roadshows and matchmaking events
  • Facilitating investor connections in various domains

Strengthening networks to new markets and customers:

  • Providing contacts with larger companies in various industries
  • Facilitating partnerships for product testbeds, customer access and distribution channels
  • Helping attract the right talent for the organisation

Who are Business Accelerators for?

The ESA Business Accelerators are designed for established European space scale-ups with a proven business model and market-ready, high-TRL products or services. Participants are typically beyond the early start-up phase, demonstrating strong commercial traction and readiness to scale their operations, secure investment, and expand into international markets.

 

How do they work?

Currently, the only operating ESA Business Accelerator is located in Munich, Germany.
